Right next door to the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass is one of the most unique experiences in the country. This isn't your typical museum. It's an immersive world of color, light, and craft built around the life's work of renowned Pacific Northwest artist Dale Chihuly.
Glass sculptures are woven into lush plantings of camellias, dogwoods, fuchsias, and handkerchief trees. The result is something genuinely unlike anything else you'll encounter on your vacation.
Highlights
- Eight immersive indoor galleries spanning Chihuly’s 40+ year career
- The Glasshouse: a 40-foot-tall glass and steel conservatory housing a 100-foot-long suspended sculpture in reds, oranges, and yellows
- Outdoor garden with glass sculptures integrated into lush Pacific Northwest plantings, best in spring and summer
- Live glassblowing demonstrations by local artists beginning at 11am daily
- Complimentary 30-minute Highlight Tours included with admission
- Free digital photo downloads included
- The Bar at Chihuly for cocktails, bites, and a view of over 25 of Chihuly’s personal collections
Plan for 1 to 2 hours. The experience is entirely self-paced. A free audio tour is available via smartphone for a deeper look at the work.
